15 Point Guitar Setups
- Initial assessment to check current playability and condition of the electronics
- Clean electronics if necessary to eliminate scratchy pots or switches
- Remove old strings
- Condition the fretboard with oil (rosewood, pau ferro, ebony) or clean with guitar polish (maple)
- Full body and neck cleaning, even the hard to reach spots that get super dusty!
- 6 stage fret polishing for ultra smooth bends and vibratos
- Install new strings of your choice (BYO or you can buy them from me)
- Fully tension the strings to stabilise tuning
- Check nut and saddles for proper depth and functionality
- Check the neck for proper relief and adjust the truss rod as necessary
- Set the string height (action) and check for any fret buss. Adjust as necessary.
- Adjust the intonation of each string (if equipped)
- Set the pickup heights to the manufacturer’s recommendation
- Balance the tremolo (if equipped)
- Lubricate the nut slots
Re-String price depends on the type of guitar (strings not included):
- 6 String Acoustic Guitars / 4 String Acoustic Bass Guitars (steel string): $40
- 6 String Electric Guitars (fixed bridge) / 4 String Electric Bass Guitars: $40
- 6 String Electric Guitars with Tremolo (floating bridge): $55
- 6 String Electric Guitars with Double Locking Tremolo (Floyd Rose): $55
- Single Re-String $10 per string
- Note: Guitars w/ additional strings: +$5 per string
Additional charges for the following:
- 12 string guitars: +$20
- Nylon string guitars (tied ends): +$10
- Guitars with hidden truss rods (requiring neck removal): +$30
- Nut slot filing (slots are too high): +$20

Restringing
- Standard Electric, Acoustic or Bass Guitars: $40
- Electric Guitars with Tremolo (floating bridge): +$15
- Electric Guitars with Double Locking Tremolo (Floyd Rose type): +$15
- 12 String Electric or Acoustic Guitars: $10
- Nylon String Guitars (tied ends): $10
Fretwork
- Full fret dressing (includes levelling, crowning and polishing): $120
- Partial fret dressing (depends on the number of frets): $40 - $100
- Sharp fret end filing and polishing: $60
- Refretting (includes removal and replacement of old frets, dressing and polishing: from $400
Nut Replacements
- Replace existing nut with a new Tusq nut
- 6 string guitar / 4 string bass: $60
- Note: additional charges may be added if extra clean-up is required in the nut slot or for additional string guitars
Hardware and Body (Prices do not include the hardware)
- Tuner replacement (exact same size with same screw hole locations): $30
- Tuner replacement (exact same size with new screw location drilling): $45
- Tuner replacement (requiring tuner hole reaming for larger size): $45
- Strap button replacement (depends on if hole is stripped): $25
- Pickguard replacement (same shape, same hole locations): $20
- Pickguard replacement (requiring new holes): $25
- Acoustic bridge replacement : $100

- Exact size / style pickup replacement: $70 for 1, + $40 per pickup for additional pickups. Includes setting pickup height.
Electronics (Prices do not include the electronic components)
- Basic Acoustic Setup: $60

- Pickup adjustment: $30
- Lubricate and clean potentiometers, switches or jacks: $60 / hour
- Replace potentiometer: $25 each
